Construction is underway on the $16 million renovation of a Downtown Louisville office tower.

SomeraRoad, a Nashville-based company, announced Tuesday an improvement project has begun on the 29-story 500 West Jefferson office tower. Andrew Marchetti, vice president in SomeraRoad’s Nashville headquarters, said over the phone Wednesday the project should be complete in the first half of 2022, with the firm specifically targeting June.

“It is our goal for 500W to redefine the office experience in Downtown Louisville,” Marchetti said in the release. “With construction at the tower ongoing, we are well on our way to realizing our goal of delivering a workspace that far exceeds the current standard of excellence in downtown Louisville.”
