SomeraRoad is proud and to announce our hosting of the upcoming BUTTER Fine Art Fair at The Stutz Building in Indianapolis this Labor Day Weekend. This groundbreaking event will celebrate Black visual artists from around the world. BUTTER seeks to elevate Black artists and promote equity in the arts community. Participating artists will receive 100% of the profits received from works sold. BUTTER is aiming to become the Art Basel of the Midwest. This is going to be something very special and will feature some amazing artists.

Indianapolis’ new Black fine art fair derives its name from one of the kitchen’s most indispensable and multidimensional ingredients. “Butter” enriches culinary concoctions just as Black art does for the creative industry.

The comparison is spread throughout the first outing of what’s planned to be an annual experience. Butter will open to the public over Labor Day weekend, complete with a carved sculpture that spells the fair’s name in the creamy food. Rounding out the art will be live music, fashion and butter-themed treats.
