Paseo South Gulch, the $1 billion mixed-use project in the Gulch, is making progress, and Nashville Business Journal got a sneak peek into site work.
SomeraRoad is currently under construction on the development’s first residential tower.
The 16-story, 278-unit apartment and office building — branded “Prima” — broke ground in February 2022. A $71 million construction loan from S3 Capital is going toward the project, according to Metro records.
Paseo South Gulch started with the revitalization of two historical properties — the antique mall and the Voorhees Building, which now holds office space and is the future home of Nashville staples The Catbird Seat and Barista Parlor — and plans for two towers, one of which is Prima.
Last year, SomeraRoad expanded project plans to include two additional towers, which will be incorporated into the greater project. Public filings indicate one residential building and one office building at the intersection of Division Street and Eighth Avenue South.
